WORLD CITIZENSHIP 3rd edition - autumn 2009

LC Cluj Napoca in AIESEC Romania


World Citizenship is an educational project based on 2 tracks which implies a series of trainings delivered to middle school and high-school pupils.


The project was designed for 6 weeks (1st of Nov.- 15th of Dec.) with 2 trainings/week and Saturday activities.

In the first part of the project, in the first weeks were hold trainings on soft skills in order for the pupils to understand the concepts of cultural differences, communication between people of different nationalities, team-work and project management; afterward, there was also a Global Village and in the second part of the project middle-school pupils will learnt about CSR and they developed a project based on this issue; meanwhile, the high-school pupils received knowledge on Marketing and they will develop a project based on this issue as well.




It has been an amazing experience for all the 5 trainees here (f from Poland, 1- Kazakhstan, 1- Germany and one from Japan).



WORLD CITIZENSHIP 2nd edition


World Citizenship in autumn 2008

was a
2 months project (15th Oct.- 15th Dec.) that resulted with 4 internationals delivering trainings to 6 of the best high-school pupils in Cluj Napoca on soft and hard skills.




The internationals were from 4 different countries: Marta from
Poland, Rejep from Turkey, Mohamoud from India and Melanie from Germany.





There was a
Press Conference organized at the Cultural Students' House at the beginning of the project, and we had the support of the County Educational Inspectorate.

We also organized a
Global Village in Iulius Mall turned out to be an amazing experience for the pupils and visitors.


Along with the 4 trainees on this project there were also other internationals in the LC from
Czech Republic, Moldavia, Venezuela, Morocco and New Zeeland so imagine the cultural diversity and "global flavors".

World Citizenship, 1st edition in spring 2008

The first edition of this
educational project was implemented in spring, last year, for 2 months, during which 2 trainees have held trainings for pupils from 6 different schools.
